IS220UCSAH1A is a processor/controller created by General Electric for the Mark VI system. The Mark VI platform is designed to manage gas or steam turbines and is released by GE as part of the Speedtronic series. It has an HMI (Human Machine Interface), and its software is designed specifically for running heavy-duty turbines, such as the CIMPLICITY graphical interface. IS220UCSAH1A is a single boxed component that allows for communication on the front panel, with two screws installed on the rear edge, and grille openings on the three sides allowing for air flow. This controller is designed for base installation within the cabinet. Up to three components can be installed adjacent to each other to achieve a compact layout and easily serve triple redundant systems. IS220UCSAH1A is suitable for the QNX operating system. It has a Freescale 8349667 MHz processor. This board uses a power supply with a rated voltage of 18-36 V dc and 12 watts. The board can be used at temperatures ranging from 0 to 65 degrees Celsius, and does not require a fan for cooling even at the highest rated temperature. This board can be used for NFPA Class 1, Zone 2 applications. The front panel of IS220UCSAH1A has six female jack connectors, one USB port, and multiple LED indicators. This includes LED indicators labeled "Link/Operation" on the left side of the front panel, as well as a row of indicators labeled "Power", "Start", "Online", "Flash", "DC", and "Diagnostic" located in the middle of the panel. Jack connectors are used for Ethernet connections, allowing circuit boards to communicate with other MKVI, MKVIe, or EX2100 excitation controls, as well as maintenance and operator stations.
