嵌入式和边缘计算技术的供应商德国康佳特宣布推出新款COM-HPC Client计算机模块，该模块基于3代英特尔酷睿处理器的高端版本。与现有采用焊接式处理器的高性能COM-HPC模块产品不同，新品采用了比同世代处理器具备更加强大性能的插槽封装。新款conga-HPC/cRLS计算机模块为COM-HPC Size C尺寸（120x160mm），IC670CHS001E   现场控制系列的接线端子模块适用于需要出色的多核与多线程性能、大缓存、大内存、大带宽和先进I/O技术的应用领域。其目标市场包括性能需求高的工业、医疗和需要人工智能(AI）和机器学习(ML）能力的边缘类应用，以及各类需要集成负载的嵌入式和边缘计算方案。此外，康佳特还支持Real-Time Systems公司的实时系统管理程序(Hypervisor)技术。

IC670CHS001 is a terminal module for the field control series, previously provided by GE Fanuc and now under Emerson Automation. This module is equipped with grid type terminal blocks, which can accommodate signal lines for electrical loads and signal equipment. It provides modular connections as it allows for the removal and insertion of managed I/O modules without the need to remove existing wiring connections.
IC670CHS001 also provides backplane communication as the module is embedded with connectors connected to adjacent terminal blocks. This wiring terminal module can accommodate up to two (2) modules, supporting both discrete I/O and analog I/O modules.
IC670CHS001 has a total of 37 terminal points. Each terminal can accommodate up to two (2) wires ranging in size from # 14 (2.1 mm2) to AWG # 22 (0.35 mm2). The applicable wire insulation rating is 90 degrees Celsius, and the recommended tightening torque is 8 inch pounds. For the wiring of the grounding terminal, the applicable wire size is AWG # 14 (average cross-sectional area 2.1mm2), and the length should not exceed 4 inches or 10.16 centimeters.
This wiring terminal module supports horizontal DIN rail or panel installation. By using IC670CHS001, hot plugging and unplugging can be achieved in non hazardous applications, especially BIU modules with firmware version 2.1 or higher, when appropriate Bus Interface Units (BIUs) are installed. The compatible pre assembled cable for connecting one or more terminal bases is IC670CBL001. In addition, auxiliary wiring terminals can also be connected to the module to provide additional grounding, signal return, and signal common connection.
