2005年，同东方电气合作，赢得岭澳二期核电站项目，提供2套1000MW的汽轮机和发电机。 2006年，签署重要技术合作意向书，携手大同电力机车联合设计完成500辆世界大功率电力机车（9600KW）。 2007年，与中国铁道部签署总价超过3.5亿欧元的重要合同，为中国铁路提供500台货运电力机车以及为石太客运专线提供电气化基础设备。 2008，迎接奥运， AB121   控制主板 由阿尔斯通提供全自动信号系统的中国条全自动地铁线——北京机场线通车。 2009，阿尔斯通全球大的锅炉生产基地----武汉锅炉股份有限公司开业。阿尔斯通（美国），阿尔斯通（法国），阿尔斯通（德国），将向武锅股份提供全球技术支持。 2009，与中国电力研究院合作，赢得国家电网合同，为宁东—山东高压直流输电项目和三峡项目高压直流输电工程提供高压直流输电系统。
